明亮的粉狀花香

1951 年， Albert Camus 在卡布里斯度過了一段時間。 他多次回到普羅旺斯的這個小村莊，欣賞地中海的壯麗全景和二月開花的含羞草樹。他寫信給他的愛人Maria Casarès*：“[...] 我帶他們去Tanneron，在 Massif des Maures 的另一邊，無盡的陽光和風。 這路線可以帶你進入天空，穿過這美麗的景色，穿過長滿含羞草的斜坡。 我回到家，黃色的斑點在我眼前飛舞，它的光芒在我體內旋轉。” 我經常去那熟悉的地方散步。 我想藉著這含羞草香水，喚起Albert Camus 沒有提到的元素：甜美、絲滑、微妙的香味，隨風飄到村莊。

MIMOSA 

Bright Powdery Floral 

In 1951, Albert Camus spent time in Capris. He returned to this tiny village in Provence many times to enjoy its stunning panoramic views of the Mediterranean and the hillside Mimosa trees that flower in February. Following a visit from some friends, he wrote to his lover, Maria Casarès*: “[...] I took them to Tanneron, on the other side of the Massif des Maures, a day of high winds and endless sun. The route takes you up into the sky, through an immense panorama, across slopes sagging under the weight of the mimosas. I returned home with yellow spots dancing before my eyes and light swirling within me.” I know the place and have walked there often. With the Mimosa perfume, I wanted to conjure up the element he doesn’t mention: the sweet, silky, subtle scent that travels on the wind right up to the village. 

 

 

Jean-Claude Ellena is considered to be one of the greatest perfumers in the world. He has been leaving his mark on the landscape of French Haute Parfumerie for more than fifty years. After occupying a position as the exclusive, in-house perfumer at Hermès, he is now the Olfactive Creation Director at Le Couvent Maison de Parfum. For him, this partnership is like love at first sight. It is a story of people coming together, of sharing, of cherished commonality.
