Though THERIA means ‘wild animal’, the Zebra is also one of the most elegant animals of the savanna, one that embraces its freedom with panache and determination. Its coat of contrasting lines and its intense gaze gives it a mysterious and majestic quality. To illustrate this animal, Jean-Claude Ellena has chosen the pure brilliance of powdery Narcissus, which he marries with the vibrant freshness of Cardamom against irresistible woody base notes. After occupying a position as the exclusive, in-house perfumer at Hermès, he is now the Olfactive Creation Director at Le Couvent Maison de Parfum.
